Everyone loves to go to those places where we can sit around in the living room together, and feel loved and at home, no matter if its our first time or your 101st. We gather together just like that… as passionate followers of Christ who love and care for one another, through thick and thin.
We all play an important part in the lives of people all around us. Engaging in Kingdom Initiatives are core to who we are as a family. Through Worship, Intercession, and Prophetic Declarations, We help each person find and flourish in their God-given purpose, gifting and passion to be and to do all God intends. In short, we help each other help each other… We train people to train people. We are a family that lifts one another up and loves each other.
Some of us attend other churches, some just stick around our place. We are all together as one family to see Christ's Kingdom advanced throughout the Gulf Coast Region. STUDY
It's the world's best-selling book and yet it is generally the least read in any household. Written several thousand years ago, it could certainly seem irrelevant at first glance. It can also be an enormously daunting prospect, especially when we are time-poor.
But the Bible isn't just your average book. It's a love letter, storybook, history lesson, self-help guide, a financial strategy, and collection of inspirational quotes all rolled into one.
Not only is there the simple written truth in the Word of God, but sometimes a word can have several different meanings depending on the way the word was translated. Understanding all the facets and all the meanings of various words opens up the Bible into multiple dimensions that give us deeper understanding and a expanded faith.
We read and study the Bible to get to know the God who loves us; to learn from the stories and experiences of others; to discover the history of our origins; to be amazed by prophecy; to gain insight on how to live our lives; and to read God's many promises that give us hope, peace and confidence.
In a nutshell, we study the Bible because we are in love with the Word, "and the Word was God" (John 1:1).
Believers are commanded in James 5:17 to “pray for one another.” The New Testament makes it clear that our responsibility for Christians to pray for one another isn’t limited to prayers for the sick.
Repeatedly, the Apostle Paul pleads, “Brothers, pray for us” Even Jesus Himself asked for the prayers of Peter, James, and John in the garden of Gethsemane.Praying for others wasn’t unusual in the Bible. Given that bearing the burdens of others in prayer is characteristically Christian, how then should we pray for one another?

In His healing ministry He showed that inner healing is a vital part of the process of becoming healthy. His compassionate response to those in need demonstrates that true healing is bringing wholeness not only to our bodies but also to our emotions and our inner being. Inner healing is part of the fullness of healing that Jesus won at the cross. Even doctors recognize that our physical health is affected by our emotional condition, our thinking and our personal relationships.
